Clint Stanaway

Clint Stanaway’s quick wit and easy charm have made him one of Australia’s most popular and versatile broadcasters. Clint is a familiar voice to Melbourne mornings as part of the Jase, Lauren & Clint radio show on Nova. His trademark humour, genuine warmth and spontaneity add to the success of the show’s unpredictable antics.

An experienced sports and news journalist, Clint built an impressive television career, including as host of Weekend Today, before deciding to step away from the Nine Network to focus on radio and family.

Clint has since been involved in various digital & social media campaigns ranging from fashion brands like Uniqlo and Rodd & Gunn to RACV and Adventure Park Geelong.

Clint is also sought after in the corporate sector, hosting functions for financial institutions, sporting events, fashion brands and Hotel openings.

Clint’s TV career highlights include covering the 2024 Olympics in Paris, The Ashes in both Australia and England, Wimbledon, the Australian Open, the 2012 London Olympic Games, three FIFA World Cups (Brazil, Russia, Qatar), a cricket World Cup in India, as well as a stint as Europe Correspondent for the Nine Network.

It’s quite a list for someone who initially wasn’t sure they wanted to be in front of the camera. But on his first day as a Year 10 work experience student at Melbourne’s Channel 9, things changed. Watching the doyen Brian Naylor present the 6 pm news from the studio control room, a young Clint was hooked.

After finishing at Glen Waverley Secondary College, Clint completed a Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University, which led to his career in sports journalism. In 2002, he began his television career with WIN in Bendigo, but it wasn’t long before he returned to Nine News as a reporter in 2005.

Following a stint in the UK, Clint returned to Melbourne and worked with Wide World of Sports and became the Weekend Sports Presenter on Nine News.

It was soon obvious that the qualified and experienced journalist was just as comfortable sharing the fun, slightly cheeky side of his personality. Clint landed the dream job for a sports tragic – Sport presenter on the Today Show. His fresh-faced enthusiasm led to the role as host of Weekend Today.

Away from work, Clint is proud to be a National Ambassador for OCRF (Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation), where he’s raised more than $250,000 with the Silver Lining ride and the children’s cancer charity MyRoom.
