In the recent Q survey of Australia’s most popular personalities, radio personality Hamish Blake was named the most popular personality in Australia from over 800 personalities surveyed. The confidential research conducted by Audience Development Australia monitors the popularity of well known Australian media figures. Hamish Blake meteoric rise to the top of the 800 person list places him ahead of the other top 10 stars including Sigrid Thornton, Hugh Jackman, Magda Szubanski and Andrew Denton.

Masterchef, Australia’s top rating variety show of 2009 has returned with celebrities in the kitchen including Indira Naidu, comedian Josh Thomas, musician Kirk Pengilly, Eamon Sullivan, Queensland Premier Anna Bligh and Fashion Designer Alex Perry.
