Hamish and Andy made a stunning appearance on US top tonight show the Jay Lenno Show. Revisiting their “ghosting stunt”, Hamish and Andy took to the streets of LA, ghosting unsuspecting Americans. Other guests on the show included Robbin Williams and Myley Cyrus.

In the recent Q survey of Australia’s most popular personalities, radio personality Hamish Blake was named the most popular personality in Australia from over 800 personalities surveyed. The confidential research conducted by Audience Development Australia monitors the popularity of well known Australian media figures. Hamish Blake meteoric rise to the top of the 800 person list places him ahead of the other top 10 stars including Sigrid Thornton, Hugh Jackman, Magda Szubanski and Andrew Denton.

Hamish and Andy blitzed the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (the “ACRA’s”) taking out four awards including the highly coveted Best On Air Team Award. Austereo’s Head of Content, Guy Dobson, described Hamish and Andy as a “phenomenon”. “These results are a sign of their massive appeal and are absolutely deserved”.

Masterchef, Australia’s top rating variety show of 2009 has returned with celebrities in the kitchen including Indira Naidu, comedian Josh Thomas, musician Kirk Pengilly, Eamon Sullivan, Queensland Premier Anna Bligh and Fashion Designer Alex Perry. Says Matt “there are some magnificent people signed up…..I’m expecting better food this time.”
